Welcome to Broadway Goes Wrong!
You are cordially invited to attend the highly anticipated, Low-Country-famous, slightly flawed production of “A Million Dreams.”
What begins as a perfectly respectable community theatre production quickly unravels into theatrical chaos.
Missing actors. Venue catastrophes. Weather warnings. Unexpected players. The smell of rotten eggs...
And a cast of thespians determined to carry on no matter what!
Estimated running time: 90 minutes (assuming everyone arrives on time and the electricity is working)
The Show Must Go On!
TICKETS:
Each camper receives two complimentary tickets. Please RSVP using the code provided in your camper's email.
Additional tickets are available for family and friends for $15.
All ticket sales are final, even in the event of forgotten lines, collapsing scenery, spontaneous improvisation, disappearing props, or an actor missing a big entrance.
Looking for the VIP Opening Night Experience? A limited number of VIP Patron tickets are available for a $100 donation to Main Stage Community Theatre. VIP seating includes priority early seating, a complimentary snack and a hard-hat-free zone for viewing.
CONCESSIONS:
Our concession stand will be open before the show and during intermission.
We strongly recommend stocking up on snacks and beverages before the curtain rises.
You never know when theatrical disaster might strike...or how long it could take to recover.
Venmo and cash accepted.
THEATRE ETIQUETTE REMINDERS
Please do not feed the actors.
In the unlikely event of a fly-away prop, remain calm. There’s a 40-60% chance its made of foam.
If an actor enters from the wrong side of the stage, kindly pretend you didn't notice.
Applause is encouraged.
Audience members may be called upon to fill in on stage in the event of emergency.
Should anything go spectacularly wrong...please remember...
It's all scripted. (Wink, wink)
Hosted at New Life Church,
